Incredible Navajo Gold and 2 Large stone Turquoise Bolo Tie
This incredible bolo tie is made by Navajo Jewelry Maker extrodinar  Sarah Deboise.  Sarah has
been making incredible for a very long time, but this piece was made back in the 70's or in that era.
When she decides to go all out, she goes all out.  This one is 12KG .  Generally  a piece like this is
first done in Sterling Silver and then the Gold is put on last.  I have to way to verify the silver as the
gold is still intact for all but a couple of small areas , which are on the corners.   The main center
piece is quite large , measuring about  3" tall by about 1-5/8" wide at the top     The two Turquoise
stones, also quite large are about 1-1/8" tall each by about 1" wide each.   The leather strings are
the larger of the commonly used and are about 1/4" diameter.   Now the tips.   Each tip is about 2"
long not including the large round barrels which are inlaid with Turquoise and then a dangle tip of
about another 1-1/8" long.  Sarah has signed the back with her oh so familiar  "SD"  signature

Imagine wearing this to a nice dinner or party.  Talk about standing a whole bunch above the rest.
This Bolo Tie is a statement maker to say the least.   Free shipping anywhere in the U.S.A.

types of pieces that I live to find.  Sold copper, with a faux Turquoise stone mounted in the
center. Solid copper fancy tips and a like new black leather like set of strings. This one
looks like it was made only yesterday.  Incredible find.  kk 995

This vintage Bolo Tie, is quite large and very  nicely done.   It was made to be worn, and most
likely not to be sold.  This is dead pawn from my friends pawn shop in Winslow, AZ.  He is right
on the edge of the Navajo Reservation, and employs about 6 Navajo Indians full time.  He
deals with the Indians almost 90% of the time, so he is really able to obtain some of the nicest
items around.   This is one of them.   This Bolo tie was made by " RLB", Sterling Silver and
Three large Turquoise all Natural Stones, plus two smaller all natural Turquoise stones
making up the bottoms.   The main bezel measures about 3" tall by about 2" wide and carries
stones from 3/4" wide to about 1/2" wide and the bottom "tails" are each about 3/4" tall by 1/2"
wide.  Signed on the back "RLB"  and really nice.  Great piece made to display wealth by the
Navajo Indians
