South West Indian Pots
This pot is one of the neatest ones you will ever find. These are
made in New Mexico by one of about only 5 Indian Pot makers
around. These incredible Gloss Black and Matte Black Pots are
hand made, and can tell by the finger impressions on the inside of
both. They are NOT the same , although at first glance the appear
to be. This one features Large oval shiny black circles with a
black matt outer area and neat triangular lines also shiny black.
These are older, but not ancient . I picked these up a few years
ago over in Zuni, New Mexico on the Indian Res. Normally , the
Zuni don't do a lot of pots, but since they are not signed, there is
no way to prove it one way or another. The each stand about 4"
tall and are about 6' across the centers. They are NOT flat on the
bottoms, but semi rounded.

This pot is very similar in size and shape to the one above.
However, the design is different. This one depicts the rolling
hills and valley's below feature. Both of these were bought
together and are from the same maker. Incredible workmanship
and thought. They are both a little used, but no chips hits or
near misses ! For the avid pot collector, these would really
make a nice addition to your collection.
