This incredible bracelet, featuring the shooting star and opalescent moon over the Pueblo's, is all hand-made by Navajo silversmith Calvin Deson. Calvin is an award winning artist, specializing in 'inlay' work. Each design is composed of different colored minerals, all individually selected, filed, shaped and ingeniously positioned together - jet, turquoise, mother of pearl, picture rock jasper, lapis lazuli and red coral, just to name but a few of those beautiful stones. This heavy sterling silver bracelet measures about 6'' on the inside of the band, with an additional opening space of about 1'', giving you a NON-ADJUSTABLE wrist size of approximately 6'' total. This fantastic bracelet weighs in at about 60 grams, which tells you that this is certainly not some light-weight piece. Calvin spends as much as two weeks making a single bracelet like this, after he decides how he wants the finished design to be. Indeed, a very artistic and capable Navajo artist. I will be featuring much of Calvin's work on these pages for your viewing and buying pleasure, and please note also, the pictures of Calvin holding these very pieces, photographed as I collect them. Each item that he makes is one of a kind. Some of the pieces may look similar, but will never be an exact copy, as he makes them one at a time. No molds, forms or fixed patterns are ever used. Thank you for your interest in this fabulous and 'wearable' work of art. Certificate of Authenticity included Item ID: ck-20
This is a new creation by Native American Husband and Wife team Ronald and Vonnie Bobelu. This is a Sterling Silver with Inlaid Red Corral work. It is done with small pieces of Red Corral , carefully fitted into the silver wire dividers and is much more difficult to do the turquoise, as Red Corral is usually small "limb'' which make it much more difficult to work with. This is some of the work that the Zuni Indians in New Mexico are famous for. Overall measurements of the main silver bezel are about 5/8'' tall by about 1/2'' wide. Measures on the inside of the band about 5'' with an additional 1-1/8'' giving you a wrist size of about 6-1/8'' Now this bracelet can be easily adjusted by gently bending the outer bands just being carefull and would therefore make a better fit. Hallmarked R.V.B by Ron and Vonnie. C.O.A. included with purchase Item ID: ce-b014

This Micro Inlay Bracelet is made by Calvin Deson, Navajo, Jewelry Artist supreme. Calvin usually makes the more normal banded type of bracelet, so this one was a special treat from him. I have been in his Hogan at the Navajo Reservation and watched him cut and finish some of the tiny pieces involved in creating a piece like this, and for such a big man, it is incredible to say the least. This is a one of a kind, as he uses no template's or anything of the sort to create objects de' art like this. Ok, first of all the overall size of the center oval is about 1-5/8" tall by about 1-1/4" wide. The minerals include Turquoise, Gaspeite, Jet, Jasper, Lapis Luzulie, and some sugilite to name a few. It measures about 5" on the inside of the band with an additional 1-3/8" opening which would give you about a 6-3/8" wrist size. Now , this can be opened or closed to make a more comfortable fit without hurting the center inlay work, as it is all mounted in a heavy Sterling Silver oval mounting. The bands are also sterling silver and are marked as such along with Calvins Initial "D" which is his standard trademark. Thank-you for looking at this remarkable work of art. #ce-oval-001
