| This is a beautiful new necklace made by Anita Nezzie, wife of Willie Nezzie and mother of Leander Nezzie. She makes most of the necklaces in this extensive Navajo family and has for over 40 years now. Anita made this one with 10 hesishe beads of stabilized Turquoise which are each about 1/8" thick and about 1/2" in diameter followed on each side by hollow Sterling Silver balls which are about 1/2" in diameter and there are 6 on each side ending up about 3/8" in diameter. Following that are several elongaded silver pieces and then about 16 very tiny heshie beads of m.o.p. and then more silver beads and then a red coral bead with a silver ball in the center of another red coral bead. Ends with a screw barrel clasp. Quite a piece of art work to be sure. Entire length is about 25" Great piece of work. The picture you see of Anita is for your own personal use only please.
